Diet for gastritis

Anti-gastritis nutrition: what to eat and what not?

Gastritis is one of the most common diseases today. Often, light meals and frequent meals, fast food, poor quality food poisoning - all this can lead to gastritis. Probably a factor as to why many people now suffer from stomach ailments. But how to deal with them?

It is not always necessary to take medication, the most important thing in the treatment is a properly and properly selected diet, which does not cause mucosal irritation and exacerbation of the disease, but at the same time saturates the body with all the necessary macronutrients and vitamins.

Basic rules

The main function of the anti-gastritis diet is to maintain a diet that ensures normal digestion. The gastritis treatment table (per day) should include:

  • 90-100 gr. protein (and 60% animals),
  • 50-80 gr. fat (75% animal)
  • 300-320 gr. carbohydrates.

Dietary rules for gastritis:

  1. Knowledge of measurements. In the case of gastritis, the saying "a little hunger should be maintained after a meal" is more relevant than ever. First, the feeling of satiety occurs only 10-15 minutes after a meal, and secondly, the stomach overflows and does not work well with its functions, especially gastritis.
  2. Diet. First, you need to keep the amount of food (at the same time). Second, food with gastritis should be fractional, 4-5 times a day, but at the same time avoid light meals (they cause "excess" secretion of gastric juice and reduce its production during breakfast / lunch / dinner, whichif it disrupts the processes of food processing and assimilation). You should completely eliminate reading while eating, watching TV and "running on the road".
  3. Relax after eating. You should rest for 15-20 minutes after each meal (no need to sleep). You can read a book or listen to music.
  4. Chewing food. Prolonged chewing (at least 25-30 seconds for each piece) helps to process food mechanically, which facilitates the work of the patient's stomach. In addition, in this case, the hunger stops faster (this prevents overeating). Avoid complex foods

The total energy value should be 2200-2800 kcal.

Nutrition with high acidity

With this type of gastritis, it is recommended to use a diet aimed at thermal and mechanical saving of the stomach, as well as reducing gastric secretion.

Allowed products:

  • casseroles, cottage cheese, dumplings, oven-baked cottage cheese;
  • all types of fermented dairy products, including yogurt and yogurt, fresh cottage cheese with milk, especially tea;
  • fish, meat or chicken soup cooked in cereal broth;
  • dry white crackers, vegetable and milk soups with butter, cereals or pasta;
  • steamed omelets, bagged eggs, vegetable dishes in the form of mashed potatoes, puddings, soufflés, weak tea, sweet fruits and berries on the web, creams and compotes;
  • ice meat, lean beef, meatballs, puddings, zraz, steamed cutlets (1-2 times a week, pieces of lean meat are allowed).

Prohibited products:

  • fatty mushroom and meat soups;
  • carbonated beverages;
  • smoked meats with spices;
  • raw vegetables, pickles, pickles, spicy vegetable appetizers, lemon juice;
  • black bread.

The purpose of the diet is to normalize the functioning of the intestine, increase the intensity of high-acid gastritis to limit thermal, chemical and mechanical stimuli.

The food pyramid for gastritis

Low acidity diet

The purpose of the diet for low-acid gastritis is to stimulate the production of gastric juice (in moderation), as well as the mechanical completion of the stomach.

Prohibited foods for hypoacid gastritis:

  • restriction of pearl barley, legumes, millet;
  • fresh bread, baked goods ("heavy" food for the stomach, complicating chemical and mechanical processing);
  • oily and salted fish;
  • coarse fiber with vegetables and fruits (white cabbage, turnips, radishes, cucumbers, bell peppers), mushrooms;
  • fatty meat, meat with fascia (films), canned food, smoked meat (improper mechanical processing of food, excess hydrochloric acid);
  • bitter and salty forms of cheese, lactic - neutralizes hydrochloric acid;
  • grains or fruits with thick skin (raspberries, strawberries, currants, swallows, figs);
  • spices and herbs (irritates the stomach lining), as well as chocolate, grape juice, alcohol;
  • lard and lard of pork, beef, lamb (not digested due to low production of hydrochloric acid, difficult to digest foods).

Food should be consumed in the first stage after the release of hydrochloric acid (advertisements or programs about food, beautiful pictures of food, "tasty" conversations can lead to the secretion of gastric juice).

Diet against gastritis in the stomach

Particular attention should be paid to the diet of gastritis. Requirements for products are similar to all types of this pathology, but stricter.

In the acute form of the disease:

  • low-fat cottage cheese;
  • no yesterday’s white bread and pastries and buns;
  • only boiled and mashed or minced lean meat;
  • soups only in vegetable soups;
  • acid-free compotes and jellies;
  • in the form of a soft-boiled egg or a steamed omelet;
  • it is better to borrow vegetable puree from baby food, as well as bottled fish and meat puree from babies;
  • tea or sugar-free tinctures.

They are completely removed from the menu during the period of immediate increase:

  • preservatives, flavor enhancers, artificial colors and products;
  • raw vegetables and fruits;
  • milk and various dairy products;
  • all types of pastries, except yesterday's bread;
  • margarine, cooking oil and butter;
  • pearl barley;
  • all types of beans and peas.

Also, all general restrictions on the products themselves and the methods of their preparation remain in force. Typically, the crisis passes within 3-4 days, and then, according to the general recommendations for patients with gastritis, the diet will be different.
